What are the Apex Intraday evaluation rules?
Profit targets are $1,500 / $3,000 / $6,000 / $9,000 on the 25K / 50K / 100K / 150K, with an intraday trailing max drawdown of $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,000 and max contracts of 4 / 6 / 8 / 12. Each evaluation has 30 days of access. There's no daily loss limit, no consistency rule and no scaling in the evaluation.
Can I pass Apex in one day?
Yes. There's no minimum number of trading days. Once you hit the profit target without touching the trailing threshold, you can pass. The 30-day access period can't be extended.
How does Apex's intraday trailing drawdown work?
The threshold follows your highest balance in real time, including unrealized (open) profit, and never moves down or resets daily. If your balance touches it at any moment, positions are liquidated and the account fails — even if the fill ends slightly above the line.
When does the trailing drawdown stop on the funded account (PA)?
On the Intraday PA, trailing stops once it reaches the max drawdown amount plus $100 — e.g. a $52,100 floor on a 50K. The PA also adds a tier-based daily loss limit and tier-based contract scaling (max 2 / 4 / 6 / 10 contracts).
How long do I have to activate my PA after passing?
7 days from when the evaluation is marked Passed after market close — not from when you hit the target. Pay the one-time PA activation fee via Purchase PA in your Passed Evals tab. If you miss the window, it can't be reinstated and you must pass a new evaluation. Account creation can take up to 6 hours.
What are the Apex payout requirements?
5 trading days (not necessarily consecutive) each with at least $100 / $200 / $250 / $300 net profit on the 25K / 50K / 100K / 150K, a $500 minimum request, 50% consistency, and your balance above the minimum to request ($26,600 / $52,600 / $103,600 / $154,600).
What is the Apex safety net?
Your drawdown limit plus $100 — $26,100 / $52,100 / $103,100 / $154,100 by size. Only profit above it can be withdrawn, and it must be maintained for the life of the PA.
How does the Apex 50% consistency rule work?
No single profitable day can be 50% or more of the total profit since your last approved payout. Example: with $2,000 profit, your best day must be under $1,000. Until you meet it, the payout request option isn't available. It applies to PA payouts, not the evaluation.
How much can I withdraw per payout?
The 50K caps are $1,500, $2,000, $2,500, $2,500, $3,000, $3,000 for payouts 1–6. The 25K is $1,000 each time; 100K runs $2,000–$4,000 and 150K $2,500–$5,000. The split is 100%.
How many payouts can I get from one Apex PA?
Six. After the sixth approved payout the PA is closed, regardless of profit. Payouts can be as often as weekly once you have 5 new qualifying days.
Can I keep trading after requesting a payout?
Yes, but trade as if the money is already gone. If your balance drops below the required minimum, the request is automatically denied.
Can I trade news at Apex?
Trading during news with your normal strategy is allowed. 'News trading' strategies that chase the market or place orders on both sides to gamble on the outcome are not, and hedging of any kind is prohibited.
Can I hold trades overnight at Apex?
No. All trades must be closed before 4:59 PM ET (agricultural markets close earlier). It's your responsibility to be flat.
Can I use bots or copy trades?
No automation or algorithms are allowed, and HFT is prohibited. Copying trades with other traders or sharing devices, IPs or cards is forbidden.
Is there an inactivity rule on Apex PAs?
Yes. You need at least 2 trading days with $50+ net profit in every rolling 30-day period. Apex sends reminders at 15 and 20 days of inactivity before the account is closed.
How many Apex accounts can I have?
Up to 20 active PAs at once, combined across Legacy, EOD and Intraday accounts.
Does Apex give refunds?
No. Evaluation fees, PA activation fees and add-ons like market data are non-refundable, including wrong-plan purchases and promo codes that weren't entered. Apply code Deeanthony before paying.
