FAQ

How does BluSky's 90/10 profit split work?

BluSky's payout policy says 90% goes to the trader and 10% to BluSky at all times unless changed by a Risk Team Review. That split applies to eligible payouts, not to evaluation profit or the non-withdrawable buffer. Eligibility, rolling caps and account-specific risk restrictions still apply.

Can I withdraw immediately after passing a Launch evaluation?

No. Launch has three phases: Evaluation → Buffer Zone → Sim Funded. Pay the launch fee after passing, then complete the Buffer Zone. Payouts begin in Sim Funded on eligible profits above its starting balance. The buffer itself is not withdrawable; passing an evaluation does not mean its profit can be cashed out.

What is the minimum BluSky payout?

The standard Sim Funded minimum request is $500, in whole dollars. You need sufficient eligible profit above your starting balance and room under your payout cap. The general payout article describes separate Orbit Brokerage thresholds; do not apply those to Launch Sim Funded accounts.

How often can I request a payout?

Daily, Monday–Friday, excluding holidays, subject to eligibility and rolling caps. There is no fixed multi-day waiting period. However, the current Sim Funded rules require at least $500 in new profit through normal trading between requests. Stop trading after submitting a request until the funds are removed. Merely flipping contracts does not qualify.

Does daily processing mean the money arrives that day?

No. Requests before 11:00 AM ET are normally processed the same trading day; requests after the cutoff are processed the next business day. Bank transfers typically take 1–3 business days. Processing and arrival are different, and BluSky notes delays can occur.

What are the Launch Sim Funded payout caps?

$50,000: $2,500; $100,000: $3,000; $200,000 Static: $2,500 per rolling 7-day window. The cap does not reset every Monday: each approved payout leaves the rolling total after 7 days. These are Sim Funded limits, not guaranteed payouts or a statement of net cash after profit sharing.

How are BluSky payouts paid, and is there a claim deadline?

Through Gusto or Rise. Complete onboarding promptly: submitted payouts must be claimed within 30 days of the request or they are forfeited. The payout article says non-US traders submit a W-8BEN on the first payout; traders needing an LLC 1099 must select Gusto rather than Rise. Consult your accountant for tax advice.

What are the one-time Launch fees?

$50,000: $99; $100,000: $149; $200,000 Static: $179. These are separate from your evaluation purchase/subscription. They fall due when you pass, not when you first buy the evaluation. Confirm the purchase price and active promotions at checkout.

When must I pay the launch fee?

Within 14 days of passing, from the Billing section in your BluSky members area. If unpaid by the deadline, the account expires immediately and the passed evaluation is lost. BluSky explicitly says it cannot be reinstated and no reset or renewal brings it back.

Does my Launch subscription keep billing after I pass?

No. It renews every 30 days during evaluation at the amount originally paid, including an applied promotion. Billing stops immediately when you pass. The Launch article says there are no subscription charges in the Buffer Zone or Sim Funded phase; the one-time launch fee and any optional resets are separate.

What does it cost to reset a Launch evaluation?

$50,000: $49; $100,000: $59; $200,000: $69. A failed evaluation receives a free reset when its subscription renews, normally within an hour after payment clears. A reset does not extend or move the renewal date. These prices are Launch-specific, not Propel or Orbit prices.

If I fail the Buffer Zone, do I lose my passed evaluation?

No. Reset the Launch Buffer Zone separately. Resets 1–3 cost $250 each, 4–6 cost $300 each, and 7–9 cost $350 each; the article says later groups continue stepping up. This differs from evaluation reset pricing. Missing the launch-fee deadline, by contrast, does forfeit the evaluation.

What is the current Launch consistency rule?

50% during evaluation and 34% in the Buffer Zone. The Launch article measures your largest profitable day against the sum of profitable days, excluding losing days. At least two profitable days are needed to pass evaluation. The homepage still displays 55%; the dedicated Launch and Evaluation Rules articles both state 50%. Confirm your account dashboard if it differs.

What other Sim Funded restrictions affect payouts?

The current Sim Funded rules say to stop trading at $5,000 daily profit and $10,000 weekly profit. Before exceeding $10,000 total profit per account, including prior payouts but excluding the buffer, request a Brokerage Review. Stop trading during review. Reviews can take up to 5 trading days, and the Risk Team may impose account-specific controls. Live Brokerage transition terms differ from Sim Funded terms.

Is there an EVX BluSky discount code?

No code was supplied for this partner. Use the EVX BluSky referral link on the card and check the final price at checkout. A referral link does not guarantee a discount.
