FAQ

What's the difference between instant and evaluation accounts?

Instant accounts are funded right away: you pay a one-time fee equal to your max drawdown ($10 for $500 up to $2,000 for $50,000) and keep 95%. Evaluation accounts cost less per dollar of buying power ($75–$745 for 5K–50K) but you must hit a 10% profit goal within a static 6% drawdown first, then keep 80%.

Do instant accounts have a daily loss limit or consistency rule?

No. Instant accounts have no daily loss limit, no consistency rule and no minimum trading days. Your only hard limit is the max drawdown.

Is the evaluation daily loss limit required?

No. You can choose an optional 3% or 4% daily loss limit. The 6% max drawdown is static, so it doesn't trail your profits.

Which account type should I pick?

If you want to skip testing and pay out fast, instant. If you want more buying power for less upfront money and can pass a 10% target, evaluation. Either way, size small — leverage goes up to 50x.

What are perpetual contracts (perps)?

Perps are contracts that track an asset's price with no expiry date. Instead of rolling contracts like futures, a periodic funding payment keeps the price near the underlying market.

How are perps different from futures?

CME futures have expiry dates, fixed contract sizes, set exchange hours and are traded at regulated US exchanges. Vest Markets perps never expire, trade on 60+ markets with up to 50x leverage, and charge percentage fees (0% maker; 0.0025% taker on indices/commodities, 0.01% on other markets).

Can I use my futures prop firm strategy on Vest Markets?

Often, yes — price action is price action — but position sizing, fees, leverage and trading hours differ. Practice the sizing before you go live.

Can I trade news or hold overnight?

Yes. News trading, scalping and holding overnight are all allowed.

When can I request a payout?

Anytime. There's no minimum payout amount and no minimum days.

How long do payouts take?

Requests are processed within 24 hours.

How do I get paid?

In USDC to your crypto wallet. Set up a wallet that supports USDC before requesting your first payout.

How many accounts can I run?

Up to 10 live accounts.
