IQ Capital vs FTMO Futures: which 50K plan should you choose?

Compare five IQ Capital 50K variants with FTMO Futures Growth and Pro. These are the verified terms used on EVX's firm cards, not a comparison of FTMO's forex program. General education only, not financial advice. Affiliate links: disclosure.

The quick answer

Consider IQ Capital if you prefer one-time pricing, want to choose Core, Rapid or Instant Funding, or need an option that skips the challenge. Consider FTMO Futures if no funded consistency rule and no activation fee are priorities, and monthly evaluation billing fits your budget. Neither is automatically better: compare the exact plan and payout restrictions.

A 50K account label is not $50,000 you can lose. The drawdown and daily or position-loss limits determine your usable risk allowance.

How do the drawdown and consistency rules differ?

Both use end-of-day drawdown in the verified plans, but the allowance varies. IQ Core offers a position-loss version and a daily-loss version; those are different risk restrictions, not interchangeable labels. FTMO Growth has no evaluation daily loss limit, but adds one once Sim-Funded. Pro has a daily loss limit in both phases.

A trader who passes an evaluation can still face different funded rules. IQ Core removes challenge consistency but adds it once funded. FTMO does the opposite: consistency applies to the evaluation, not Sim-Funded payouts. Read consistency rules explained and the drawdown guide before choosing.

Which payout structure fits your trading?

IQ Rapid has the shortest advertised cycle in this comparison, but its consistency requirement still matters. Core and Instant trade a longer cycle for a different plan structure. Instant skips an evaluation; it does not remove loss limits or payout conditions.

FTMO Growth and Pro differ in how much profit is withdrawable and in request caps. Pro's 100% withdrawable-profit allowance is not a 100% profit split: the verified split remains 90/10. The new-profit requirement also applies to each request. Timing alone is not enough to choose a payout plan.

Before you buy: three decisions

  1. Evaluation or instant? Choose whether skipping the challenge justifies Instant Funding's higher entry price.
  2. One-time or monthly? Budget IQ Core's activation separately; consider how long you may pay FTMO evaluation subscriptions.
  3. Can your strategy meet the funded rules? Compare consistency, loss limits and withdrawal restrictions before focusing on a promo.

FAQ

Is this FTMO futures or its forex challenge?

This comparison covers FTMO Futures Growth and Pro only, using 50K accounts. It does not compare FTMO's forex or CFD programs.

Which has no funded consistency rule?

FTMO Futures Growth and Pro have no consistency rule once Sim-Funded; their evaluation consistency requirements still apply. IQ Capital Core and Instant have 30% funded consistency, while Rapid has 40%.

Does either firm offer instant funding?

IQ Capital's verified Instant Funding plans skip the challenge. FTMO Futures Growth and Pro are evaluation plans, not instant funding.

Are the prices directly comparable?

Not by sticker price alone. IQ Capital's verified prices are one-time and Core has a separate activation fee after passing. FTMO Futures charges monthly and has no activation fee. Confirm the total and any promotion at checkout.

Does faster payout timing guarantee a withdrawal?

No. A payout cycle is not a promise of payment: eligibility, loss rules, consistency, available profit and any payout caps still apply. FTMO also requires new profit of at least 50% of each requested amount.
